How to gift a digital pixel: a small present with a larger story
Learn how gifting an ApeTerra digital pixel works: Bear #001, a personal dedication and an image that grows one pixel at a time.
What makes a pixel gift different?
An ApeTerra pixel is not a physical product or something shipped to an address. It is part of a digital image: as people confirm pixels, new full-colour portions of Bear #001 become visible.
The idea suits someone who values nature, art or meaningful online experiences. Where supported by checkout, a name or dedication can help explain why that particular gift matters.
A gift that becomes part of a picture
The full illustration appears subtly behind the grid. Confirmed pixels bring out vivid details, so recipients can understand how a small digital purchase relates to a larger image.
Bear #001 uses twenty progressive modules rather than a single static board. This lets the visual story develop over time without treating each new stage as an unrelated picture.
Choosing a pixel and writing a dedication
Start with the official Build the Hive page. Review the active module and pixel availability before proceeding through the actual payment flow. Use the gifting option and any dedication fields exactly as presented on the site.
A short message can carry more meaning than personal details. Avoid placing sensitive information in anything that may be publicly displayed on the pixel board.
Ideas for occasions
A pixel may be a birthday surprise, a thank-you to a teacher, a personal anniversary message or a gesture for somebody interested in pollinators and conservation.
The experience should be described accurately: it is a digital gift associated with an evolving artistic and educational project, not a guarantee of financial return, physical ownership or future material rewards.
Where to find the official gift experience
ApeTerra also explores learning missions, artistic hive concepts and nature-related activities. The pixel experience gives people a simple entry point into that broader work.
