ApeTerra Laboratory
The learning model

Observe safely. Listen carefully. Ask better questions.

The laboratory is designed as a guided space where children and adults can understand pollination, hive life, beekeeper work, natural materials and the surrounding territory.

Learning stations

Four ways to explore the world of bees.

The first structure remains light and adaptable rather than becoming a large permanent visitor centre.

01

Hive sound

Listen to selected Bee Sound recordings and learn how sound changes with activity and context.

02

Beekeeper tools

Explore protective equipment, hive components, frames, wax and honey handling through guided demonstrations.

03

VR and visual learning

Use approved digital experiences to explore hive spaces that visitors cannot enter directly.

04

Protected garden

Connect flowers, pollinators, seasons and food through outdoor observation and practical activities.

A guided session

From curiosity to practical understanding.

Each activity is designed around the group, age and real conditions of the pilot.

01

Welcome and safety

Explain the site, bees, protective distances, behaviour and the learning objectives.

02

Observe and handle

Use safe materials, tools and protected displays to understand professional beekeeping.

03

Listen and explore

Experience hive audio, visual media, VR and the pollinator garden with a guide.

04

Reflect and create

Complete an age-appropriate activity, discussion or project connected to biodiversity.
